A closer look at the platform being built for Philippine property
What PropVela actually does, and why we're building it this way.

Why we started here
Anyone who has searched for a place to rent or buy in the Philippines knows the two problems that keep coming up: you can't always tell who you're really talking to, and you can't always tell if the listing is even still available. We didn't set out to build another portal that just adds more listings to the pile. We set out to fix those two problems first, and build the rest of the platform around that.
Verifying the people, not just the listings
When an agent joins PropVela, we check that they are who they say they are. That includes checking PRC licence details where applicable. This isn't a badge we hand out for signing up — it's a check we do so that when someone messages an agent through PropVela, they know they're dealing with a real, identifiable person, not a name attached to a phone number.
This matters more than it might sound. Property deals involve money, personal documents, and access to homes. Knowing who is on the other end of a conversation is the starting point for everything else.
Keeping listings honest
The second problem is availability. Listings sit online long after a unit is rented or a house is sold, because nobody goes back to take them down. We handle this by asking agents to confirm periodically that a property is still available. If a listing hasn't been confirmed, we hide it rather than leave it up on the strength of an old post. It's a simple rule, but it means what you see on PropVela is far more likely to still be there when you enquire.
AgentDesk: one place for the working life of a property
For agents, we're building AgentDesk, a CRM that follows a property and a client relationship from first enquiry through to closed deal. It covers client records, rent tracking, offers, sales deals, and commission tracking, alongside move-in cost statements, works and maintenance notes, a calendar, and message templates.
The idea is straightforward: an agent's work doesn't stop at the listing. There's a client to follow up with, an offer to track, a move-in date to manage, a repair to log. AgentDesk is meant to hold all of that in one place instead of scattered across notebooks, spreadsheets, and group chats.
Agents get a free trial with no card required, and there's no lock-in contract. If it's useful, you keep using it. If it isn't, you walk away.
Built for agencies as well as individuals
Agencies can run a team on PropVela, with each agent in that team verified individually. That means an agency's presence on the platform is only as strong as the people in it — which is exactly how it should work. There's no shortcut where one licence covers a whole office.
No account needed to browse
For buyers and renters, we've kept the entry point simple. You can browse listings without creating an account, and when you find something worth asking about, you can message the agent directly. No forms to fill in just to look, no account wall between you and a conversation.
Where things stand
PropVela is launching soon. We're still building, testing, and refining before we open the platform properly, and we'd rather take the time to get the verification and listing-freshness checks right than rush them out.
In the meantime, we're keeping a waitlist for people who want to hear when we open — agents, agencies, buyers, and renters alike. Joining it doesn't get you a badge, a discount, or early access to anything. It means we'll email you when there's something to tell you, and nothing more than that.
If that's useful to you, Join the PropVela waitlist.
