How the articles on PropVela are made. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who we are
PropVela is a Philippine property portal. We publish property listings, tools for the agents who list them, and the articles on this site. Articles are credited to the PropVela Editorial Team. That is the team name for PropVela's articles as a whole: no article is credited to a named individual, and none claims a personal byline or professional credential.
How articles are produced
- AI-assisted drafting. Articles are drafted with the help of an AI writing tool, working from a topic or heading that PropVela has approved, or, for market news, from stories found through web search.
- Automated checks. Before an article is saved it is checked for obvious problems, including text that stops mid-sentence, near-duplicates of existing articles, and wording that makes place-specific risk claims we cannot support. An article that fails a check is held back as a draft.
- Human review. Articles on legal matters, contracts, tax, mortgages and financing, foreign ownership, regulations, permits and investment are never published automatically: they are held as drafts for a person at PropVela to read before they go live. Lower-risk articles, such as market news roundups, location and transport guides and lifestyle pieces, can be published automatically once they pass the checks.
- Sponsored articles are always labelled as sponsored and are never published without a person at PropVela reading them first.
Sources
- Market news roundups summarise reports from named publications and research firms. Each story is paraphrased, credits its original source by name and links to it in the text, so you can read the original report.
- Guides and explainers are general information. Where an article points to an official body or a rule, check the body's own current requirements before you act, because rules, fees and processes change.
- PropVela's own data (listings, asking prices and similar) comes from listings agents and owners post on PropVela. Asking prices are what sellers and landlords ask, not what a property sells or lets for.
Figures are indicative, and this is not advice
Prices, rates, percentages and other figures in an article are indicative and may be out of date by the time you read them. None of it is legal, tax, financial, investment or valuation advice. For a decision that matters, speak to a qualified professional: a lawyer for legal and ownership questions, a tax adviser for tax, your lender for financing.
Corrections
If you think an article is wrong, out of date or unclear, email support@propvela.com with the link to the article and what you believe should change, and a source if you have one. We review every report and correct errors we confirm.
