Today's roundup looks at a fresh move to make home financing more accessible for Filipino buyers eyeing condominium living.
DMCI Homes Partners with Pag-IBIG to Widen Housing Access
DMCI Homes has struck a deal with Pag-IBIG Fund that could open up housing loan financing for as many as 3,990 of its condominium units, though this hinges on each project clearing accreditation first. The two parties formalized their agreement through a memorandum of understanding signed last Friday. Anissa Heights, a preselling condo development in Pasay City, is the first project under this tie-up to receive accreditation. Prospective buyers should note that actual loan approval and the amount granted will still depend on standard factors like repayment capacity, the loan-to-appraised value ratio, and other Pag-IBIG membership and documentation requirements. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, applicants must be active Pag-IBIG members with valid ID and proof of income to qualify.
