For Filipinos working and living abroad, two fresh developments under Pag-IBIG Fund's Expanded 4PH Program mean more choices — and more financed housing stock — to consider when planning a home purchase back home.

Pag-IBIG, BCDA partner to build walk-to-work housing in New Clark City

Pag-IBIG Fund and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority have agreed to jointly develop affordable housing on government-owned land in New Clark City, pairing BCDA's property with Pag-IBIG's home financing. The vision is a walk-to-work township where homes sit near jobs, shops and recreational spaces, rather than requiring long commutes. For OFWs applying through Pag-IBIG's existing overseas channels, this adds another future housing pipeline to watch when considering options from abroad. According to Tribune, the agreement was signed October 8 at BCDA's Taguig office.

Filinvest joins Pag-IBIG in Expanded 4PH

Filinvest Land has joined the Expanded 4PH Program, offering preferential pricing on homes bought using Pag-IBIG loans. This comes as Pag-IBIG has raised its housing loan ceiling to P10 million alongside lower promotional interest rates, meaning the Filinvest tie-up stacks discounted pricing on top of improved financing terms. For buyers abroad, it adds a major, established developer to the roster of accredited partners offering homes under these enhanced loan conditions. According to PeopleAsia, the partnership is meant to complement Pag-IBIG's expanded loan offerings with developer-side incentives.
